Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enquiring about or enrolling in any Lestari Money programme. By submitting an enquiry or completing enrolment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Lestari Money," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Lestari Money, a financial education provider registered in Malaysia, with principal address at Lebuh Chulia 76, 10200 George Town, Penang.
- "Programme" refers to any course, webinar series, seminar, consultation, or educational offering provided by Lestari Money.
- "Participant" or "you" refers to any individual who enquires about, enrolls in, or attends a Lestari Money Programme.
- "Materials" refers to all printed, digital, and recorded content provided as part of a Programme, including workbooks, templates, slide decks, and session recordings.
- "Website" refers to the Lestari Money website at lestarim and any associated pages.
2. Programme Enrolment
Enrolment in a Lestari Money Programme is subject to the following conditions:
- All participants must be at least 18 years of age. Our programmes are primarily designed for individuals aged 40 and above, though younger adults may enrol at our discretion.
- Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable Programme fee in full, unless a written payment arrangement has been agreed.
- We reserve the right to decline an enrolment if, in our reasonable judgement, a Programme is not appropriate for the applicant's circumstances. Where this occurs, any fee paid will be refunded in full.
- Places in each Programme are limited. Submission of an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed enrolment.
- All information provided during the enrolment process must be accurate and complete.
3. Fees and Payment
Programme fees are as follows:

- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable materials unless stated otherwise.
- Payment methods accepted include online bank transfer, FPX, and other methods confirmed at the time of enrolment. We do not accept cash payments.
- Fees do not include travel or accommodation costs for in-person sessions held outside of Penang, where applicable.
- We reserve the right to adjust Programme fees for future intakes. The fee applicable to you is the one confirmed in writing at the time of your enrolment.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Participant
- More than 14 calendar days before the Programme start date: Full refund of the Programme fee, less any applicable administrative charge of RM 50.
- 7 to 14 calendar days before the Programme start date: 50% refund of the Programme fee.
- Fewer than 7 calendar days before the Programme start date: No refund, except at our discretion in cases of documented medical emergency or serious personal hardship.
- Participants who cancel may, at our discretion, be offered a transfer to a future intake of the same Programme without additional charge, subject to availability.
Cancellation by Lestari Money
- We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a Programme if minimum enrolment numbers are not reached, or due to circumstances outside our control including illness of a key facilitator, venue unavailability, or force majeure events.
- In the event of a cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund of any fee paid, or the option to transfer to an alternative date.
- We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants in connection with a cancelled Programme.
To request a cancellation or transfer, please contact us in writing at [email protected] with your name, enrolled Programme, and reason for cancellation.
5. Programme Changes and Postponements
We aim to deliver all Programmes as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to:
- Substitute a facilitator, advisor, or guest speaker where the original person is unavailable, provided a suitably qualified replacement is arranged.
- Adjust session timing or delivery format (for example, moving a session from in-person to online) where circumstances require, with reasonable prior notice.
- Update programme content to reflect changes in Malaysian property legislation, BNM guidelines, or tax regulations. Such updates are made in the interest of accuracy and do not constitute a material change to the Programme.
We will notify enrolled participants of any significant changes by email as soon as reasonably practicable.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to engage with Lestari Money Programmes in good faith and with mutual respect for other participants, facilitators, and advisors. We reserve the right to remove a participant from a Programme, without refund, where:
- Their conduct is disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful to other participants or facilitators.
- They engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.
- They record, reproduce, or distribute session content without our written permission.
- They misrepresent themselves or provide false information during the enrolment process.
7. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All Materials provided as part of a Lestari Money Programme โ including workbooks, templates, slides, recorded sessions, and any written strategy documents โ remain the intellectual property of Lestari Money or our licensed partners.
- Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Materials for their own private, non-commercial purposes.
- Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or shared with third parties without our prior written consent.
- Recording of live sessions โ whether audio, video, or screen capture โ is not permitted without our prior written permission.
- Where recorded sessions are made available to participants as part of a Programme, access is personal and non-transferable.
8. Educational Nature of Content
Lestari Money provides financial education. Our programmes, sessions, consultations, and materials are designed to help participants understand property-related concepts, regulations, and considerations. They do not constitute:
- Financial advice, investment advice, or recommendations to buy or sell any specific property or investment product.
- Legal advice regarding property transactions, contracts, or disputes.
- Tax advice or formal tax planning services.
- Valuation services or formal property appraisals.
Where participants receive time with a licensed estate agent, registered financial planner, or registered valuer as part of a Programme, those sessions are facilitated as educational consultations and do not establish a formal advisory engagement unless separately agreed in writing.
Participants should seek independent professional advice before making any property purchase, financial commitment, or investment decision.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Lestari Money shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from a participant's reliance on Programme content, Materials, or consultation discussions for the purpose of making a property, financial, legal, or tax decision.
- Our total liability to any participant in connection with a Programme shall not exceed the Programme fee paid by that participant.
- We do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal property brought to any in-person session.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter which cannot be excluded by law.
10. Data Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By enrolling in a Programme, you acknowledge that we may use your personal data to administer your enrolment, communicate Programme information, and comply with our legal obligations.
11. General Provisions
- Governing law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
- Entire agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lestari Money in relation to Programme enrolment.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on a given occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it on a future occasion.
- Updates: We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment is the version that applies to your Programme participation.
